Berger was awarded the George Enescu Prize of the Romanian Academy in 1995 for Inscription in Stone for organ.
Berger has performed numerous solo recitals in Romania (Bucharest, Braşov, Timișoara, Cluj-Napoca, Târgu-Mureş, etc.)
