Christopher Charles Taylor, FSA, FBA (7 November 1935 – 28 May 2021) was a British archaeologist and landscape historian.
Having worked whilst a student for the commission on archaeological fieldwork (later part of English Heritage), he took a diploma in prehistory from the University of London before beginning work for the Commission full-time in 1960.
[3] In 1960, Taylor joined the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments (RCHM) as an investigator.
[3] Taylor was an elected Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of London (FSA).
[2] In 2013, he was awarded the John Coles Medal for Landscape Archaeology by the British Academy.
