Chuck Weatherspoon

Johnny "Chuck" Weatherspoon, Jr. (born July 31, 1968) is an American former professional football running back who played one season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL).

He was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the ninth round of the 1991 NFL draft.

He was also a member of the Fort Worth Cavalry of the Arena Football League (AFL).

[3] His career average of 8.2 yards per carry is tied with Darrell Henderson of Memphis as the best in college football history.

[4] He was subsequently signed as a free agent by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and played in four games for the team during the 1991 season.
