Clara Place is a garden square in Topsham, Devon.
[2] Clara Place is one of the only Victorian examples of Topsham's notable historic buildings.
[4] Clara Place was built in 1841 on the former site of the Topsham workhouse.
[5] The garden square was developed by William Clapp, who named it after his wife Clara.
[6] According to Pevsner, Clara Place was described as 'a neat building' 'for the accomodation of decent folks'.
