Clifford Poole

[1] Drafted into military service during World War II, Poole performed during periods of leave.

Poole was a guest performer with the Montreal Women's Symphony Orchestra in 1946.

[4] Around that time he also performed as a duo with his wife, pianist Margaret Parsons.

[5] In 1948 the pair joined the faculty of the School of Music at Western University.

Beginning in 1963 he taught at the University of Toronto,[5] and was later active in composition and services to orchestras.
