Clotilde González de Fernández

Clotilde González de Fernández (née Clotilde Mercedes González; married name Clotilde Mercedes González de Fernández Ramos;[1] September 24, 1880 – February 28, 1935) was an Argentine educator, piano teacher, and writer.

As a young adult, she married the writer, researcher and correspondent for the newspapers La Nación and La Prensa, the Spaniard Ildefonso Raimundo Fernández Ramos, with whom she had three children.

[4] Together with her husband, they managed to bring from France the manuscripts of Aimé Bonpland on his research carried out in the United States, which were translated and donated to the Bernardino Rivadavia Natural Sciences Argentine Museum.
