Conemaugh Township includes the towns of Jerome, Davidsville, Tire Hill, Thomas Mills, part of Holsopple, and surrounding countryside.

The Shaffer's Bridge was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

As of the census[5] of 2000, there were 7,452 people, 2,950 households, and 2,203 families residing in the township.
