Consulado metro station

The station features a combination of elevated and at-grade buildings; each has two side platforms.

Consulado is a metro transfer station in the limits of Gustavo A. Madero and Venustiano Carranza boroughs, in northeastern Mexico City.

Its pictogram depicts a water duct, symbolizing the section of the Consulado River [es] that runs beneath the station.

[3] The area is serviced by Line 5 of the Metrobús rapid transit system at Río Consulado bus station located a few blocks away.

[6] The passenger transfer tunnel that connects both lines is approximately 400 meters (1,300 ft) long.

[3] According to the system authorities, the section between Consulado and Valle Gómez stations is a common zone of copper wire thefts, which could potentially cause fires on the tracks.

[14] On 31 July 2018, three railroad cars uncoupled while a train was traveling between the Consulado and Eduardo Molina interstation, but no injuries were reported.

[16] Mexico City's head of government, Claudia Sheinbaum, stated that the reports would be examined accordingly.
