Cottonwood Shores is a city in Burnet County, Texas, United States.

Cottonwood Shores is located in southwestern Burnet County on the south bank of the Colorado River below the outlet of Lake Lyndon B. Johnson.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.0 square miles (5.1 km2), all land.
