Sherwood Shores is an unincorporated community in Burnet County, Texas, United States.

The area in what is known as Sherwood Shores today was first settled around the early 1960s when a Baptist church was chartered.

[2] Sherwood Shores is located in the Highland Lakes region in western Burnet County, 14 mi (23 km) southwest of Burnet on Lake Lyndon B.

Elementary-age kids attend Highland Lakes Elementary in Granite Shoals.
