D. Vedavyas Kamath is an Indian politician belonging to Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP).
He was elected to the 15th Karnataka Assembly from Mangaluru City South constituency in Dakshina Kannada.
[6] In 2016, a close associate of Kamath and leader of NaMo brigade named Naresh Shenoy was the prime accused in the murder of RTI activist Vinayak Baliga during March, 2016 at Kodialbail.
[7] The RTI activist has raised questions involving misappropriation of funds related to a temple in city and involvements of Sevanjali Trust in shady land deals[8][9] He was also accused of interfering into vaccination processes during the COVID-19 vaccine rollout [10] and was also stated to have taken credit for work done by John Richard Lobo.
[11] In 2024, the Democratic Youth Federation of India have raised allegations against Kamat over Transferable development rights(TDR) scam in Vamanjoor.
