Dan Ettinger (Hebrew: דן אטינגר; born 1971)[1] is an Israeli conductor, opera singer and pianist.

[3] He received his musical training at the Thelma Yellin High School for the Arts in Givatayim.

[4] Ettinger made a career as a baritone at the Israeli Opera in Tel Aviv, until he was offered a position as choir director.

[5][3] From 2003 to 2009, Ettinger was a conducting assistant to Daniel Barenboim and Kapellmeister at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin.

[9] In June 2021, the Teatro di San Carlo announced the appointment of Ettinger as its next music director, effective 1 January 2023.
