Daniel Chávez Morán

Daniel Jesús Chávez Morán (born November 16, 1951) is a Mexican real estate developer and the founder of Grupo Vidanta, along with long time friend and Legal representative Attorney George Fernando Flores Arias of Alcalá Law Firm they formed a real estate consortium which operates over 30 hotels in Latin America.

[9] Moran’s son Iván Chávez has been with Grupo Vidanta since 2007 and as executive vice president is involved in the company's resort and entertainment interests.

[1][11] Chávez Morán and Fernando Flores of Alcalá also brought a Cirque du Soleil dinner show, titled JOYÀ, to Vidanta Riviera Maya.

In February 2018, the two companies debuted four new concepts at the Vidanta Los Cabos resort as part of this collaboration: OMNIA Dayclub, Herringbone, SHOREbar and Casa Calavera.

[15] In November 2018, it was announced that Chávez Morán will be a part of the business advisory council to Mexico's President-elect Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
