As expected for the incumbent president, Obama won every primary election, but faced more difficulty than projected.

Four qualified for convention delegates including: attorney John Wolfe Jr., prison inmate Keith Russell Judd, perennial candidate Jim Rogers, and anti-abortion activist Randall Terry.
