David Thomas Van Gorder (March 27, 1957 – February 4, 2025) was an American Major League Baseball catcher.
He played during five seasons at the major league level for the Cincinnati Reds and Baltimore Orioles.
Van Gorder played his first professional season with their Double-A Nashville Sounds in 1978, and split his last season between Baltimore and their Triple-A team, the Rochester Red Wings, in 1987.
Van Gorder died in Tucson, Arizona, on February 4, 2025, at the age of 67.
