David Allen Barber was a justice of the Kentucky Supreme Court from March 23, 2015, to December 2015 for the 7th district.
[1] He obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Louisville School of Law.
[1] Barber was appointed by Kentucky governor Steve Beshear to fill the vacant seat that the resignation of Will T. Scott had left.
[6] Prior to the appointment he had been working as policy and legal advisor to Greg Stumbo.
[1] In 2018 he ran for the Kentucky Court of Appeals but was defeated by Larry E. Thompson who gained 53.9% of the vote.
