Samuel T. Wright III (born 1955) is a former Associate Justice of the Kentucky Supreme Court.

[1] Wright previously worked as a trial judge for more than 23 years in Letcher County.

He was first appointed to fill a vacancy on Circuit Court by Governor Brereton Jones in 1993 and was then elected.

[1] In January 2015 Wright filed paperwork to run for a seat on the Kentucky Supreme Court.
