[3] He signed with the Padres and split the 2016 season between the Tri-City Dust Devils and the Fort Wayne TinCaps, combining to a 4–4 win–loss record with a 2.32 earned run average (ERA) in 31 innings pitched.

[4] He split the 2017 season between Fort Wayne and the Lake Elsinore Storm, going a combined 1–4 with a 2.64 ERA in 60 innings.
