Dayon Hayes (born August 26, 2001) is an American football defensive end for the Texas A&M Aggies.
[2] In his first collegiate game in the 2020 season opener, Hayes notched two sacks and forced fumble in a 55-0 win over Austin Peay.
[3] In his first three collegiate seasons from 2020 to 2022, he totaled 36 tackles with 16 being for a loss, eight sacks, a pass deflection, and a forced fumble in 27 games.
[4][5] In 2023, Hayes played in all 12 games with 11 starts for the Panthers, where he notched 45 tackles with 11 being for a loss, four sacks, four pass deflections, and a forced fumble.
[6] In week 3 of the 2024 season, he notched two and a half tackles for a loss, and two sacks in a win over rival Colorado State.
