[4][5] In 1997, Denny Likmabam joined Sanaleipak Nachom Artistes Association (a Shumang Leela group) as a part-time musician in the orchestra section.

He is also the leading actor in the 2002 movie Lammei, the first Manipuri video film to have a commercial screening at a theatre.

[7][8] In 2013, he acted in Makhonmani Mongsaba's Nangna Kappa Pakchade where he plays the role of a lawyer.
