Diessen is a village in the Dutch province of North Brabant.
The village was first mentioned in 380 as Deusone, and relates to the Dieze River.
[3] Diessen developed in the Early Middle Ages around the Reusel stream.
[4] The St Willibrordus church, with a choir from the early-15th century, had a nave from around 1450.
[6] Diessen is hypothesized to be the birthplace Deusone of the Gallic Emperor Postumus.
