Dietrich von Rothenstein

Dietrich von Rothenstein (Bettendorf) (b.

1518 - d. 31 January 1580) was the Prince-Bishop of Worms from 1552 to 1580.

Dietrich was born into the Bettendorf family, part of an old German nobility, as the second son of Johannes Hans von Bettendorf (1484-1556) and his wife, Barbara von Gemmingen (d.
