Dimitris Tzanakopoulos

He was a Minister of State & the Government Spokesperson of the Hellenic Republic (Greece) in the cabinet of Alexis Tsipras between 2016 and 2019.

[1] His older brother, Antonios Tzanakopoulos, is a professor of law at the University of Oxford,[2] while his younger sister, Maria Tzanakopoulou, is a Lecturer at Birkbeck, University of London.

[1] He is a PhD candidate in Legal Theory at the University of London.

He has published academic papers and articles in the ‘Law and Critique’ journal; the collective volume of the ‘Nicos Poulantzas Institute’; and various other journals and newspapers.

From November 2016 until June 2019 he was Minister of State and Government Spokesperson.
