Doerun is a city in Colquitt County, Georgia, United States.

[4] The Georgia General Assembly incorporated the place in 1899 as the "Town of Doerun".

[5] The community was named for a deer run near the original town site.

DES is administered by the Colquitt County School District.

Doerun is also served by Colquitt County High School.
