[2] She studied art at Hobart Technical College from 1925 to 1929, her teachers being Lucien Dechaineux and Mildred Lovett.

[2] Two of her watercolours of flowers were included in an exhibition of drawings held Modern Art Centre, Sydney in 1933.
[7] A retrospective exhibition of her work and that of fellow Tasmanian painter Edith Holmes was held in the Arts Council Galleries in Canberra in 1984.
