Douglas Bahr

Douglas Bahr (born 1960 or 1961)[1] is an American lawyer who has served as a justice of the North Dakota Supreme Court since 2023.

[2] Bahr started his legal career as a law clerk to Justice Jerry L. Larson of the Iowa Supreme Court from 1990 to 1991.

[5] In September 2018, Bahr was appointed by Governor Doug Burgum to serve as a judge of the South Central Judicial District Court of North Dakota.

In December 2022, Bahr was one of seven applicants who applied for the upcoming vacancy on North Dakota Supreme Court.

[7] On January 9, 2023, Governor Burgum appointed Bahr as an associate justice of the North Dakota Supreme Court.
