Douglas Caddy (born March 23, 1938),[citation needed] is an American attorney who was briefly counsel for the five men arrested for the Watergate burglaries, as well as two other men involved in the Watergate scandal, E. Howard Hunt and Gordon Liddy.

[citation needed] According to Caddy, he met Hunt at a public relations firm then became friends due to shared political views.
[1] He served as national director for Young Americans for Freedom and had volunteered for the Committee to Re-elect the President.
