The racial makeup of the township was 91.76% White, 0.80% African American, 0.22% Native American, 1.27% Asian, 0.02% Pacific Islander, 1.55% from other races, and 4.36% from two or more races.

30.80% of all households were made up of individuals, and 16.00% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
