It is situated between Singer to the west and Drumchapel to the east, 8 miles 10 chains (13.1 km) from Glasgow Queen Street, measured via Maryhill.
[4] Drumry station was opened on 6 April 1953 to serve two of the new housing schemes that were built post World War II on the northern edges of the Burgh of Clydebank,[5][3] nearly a century after the opening of the line itself through the town.
[6] The station has a small car park and has cycle stands.
[7][8] Work to replace the platform surfaces by Network Rail was carried out between January and June 2022.
On Sundays, there is a half-hourly service to Edinburgh via Airdrie and to Helensburgh Central.
