East Barito Regency

East Barito Regency (Indonesian: Kabupaten Barito Timur) is one of the thirteen regencies which comprise the Central Kalimantan Province on the island of Kalimantan (Borneo), Indonesia.

It was formed on 10 April 2002 from districts which were formerly part of South Barito Regency.

The town of Tamiang Layang is the capital of East Barito Regency, which covers an area of 3,834 km2.
