Echinoecus pentagonus, the sea urchin crab, is a species of crab in the family Pilumnidae found from the Red Sea and East Africa to French Polynesia and the Hawaiian Islands.

In Hawaii, it chooses only Echinothrix calamaris, leaving few of these urchins unpopulated.
