Echiomima mythica

Echiomima mythica is a moth in the family Xyloryctidae.

It is found in Australia,[1] where it has been recorded from New South Wales and Queensland.

The forewings are pale ochreous, towards the inner and hind margin somewhat brownish tinged.

The costa and inner margin are narrowly suffused with yellowish brown and there is a round black dot in the disc at two-thirds.

The larvae feed on Ellatostachys xylocarpa, Cleistanthus cunninghamii, Waterhousea floribunda, Backhousia myrtifolia, Pongamia pinnata, Elaeocarpus angustifolius, Daphnandra species and Carya illinoensis.
