He played college football for the UCLA Bruins, where he was named first-team Freshman All-America.
Vanderdoes originally signed a National Letter of Intent in February 2013 to play college football with Notre Dame.
[12] After returning from practice in October, Vanderdoes was ultimately not activated from the PUP list, officially ending his 2018 season.
[13] Vanderdoes was waived/injured during final roster cuts on August 30, 2019,[14] and reverted to the team's injured reserve list on September 1.
