Edwin Holliday

Edwin Holliday (17 June 1939 – 4 October 2021) was an English professional footballer who played as an outside left.

Holliday was born in Leeds,[2][3][4] or possibly Barnsley,[1] on 17 June 1939.

[5] At club level he played for Middlesbrough, Sheffield Wednesday, Hereford United, Workington and Peterborough United before retiring in 1970 due to injury, having scored 38 goals in 284 Football League appearances.

[1] Holliday died in hometown Barnsley on 4 October 2021, aged 82.
