El Adelanto (Spanish pronunciation: [el aðeˈlanto]) is a small town and municipality in the Jutiapa department of Guatemala.

It borders the municipality of Jutiapa to the north, Yupiltepeque to the east, Zapotitlán to the south, and Comapa to the southwest.
