Elaine Chuli was a member of the UConn Huskies women's ice hockey team during 2012 to 2016.

[10][11] In April 2020, she signed with the first Canadian expansion team of the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL), the Toronto Six.

[17] Chuli competed as member of Team Canada at the 2012 IIHF World Women's U18 Championship.

[19] Her performance helped Team Canada sweep the tournament and win the gold medal that year.

[21] She is a member of the LGBTQ community and in a relationship with PWHL Ottawa Charge forward Shiann Darkangelo.
