Elia Irimari

[1] Until his appointment as governor, Irimari was the regional councilor for Ondangwa Urban Constituency.

Irimari became a councillor in 2015 and has been serving in the management committee of the Oshana Regional Council since his appointment.

[2] Irimali previously worked as school history teacher.

During this time he was an active member of the Namibia National Students Organization.

He is also an advocate for communities to harvest water so that it can be used during dry seasons, both by human and livestock.
