Emanuel Hoffmann (4 May 1896 – 3 October 1932) was a Swiss jurist and art collector.
From that year he worked at the family's company Roche in Basel.
In Belgium, he and his wife began to collect art from such contemporary painters as Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso, Paul Klee and Max Ernst.
[5] His son Lukas Hoffmann was best known for being a co-founder of the World Wide Fund for Nature.
[5] After his death, his surviving wife Maja Hoffmann established the Emanuel Hoffmann Foundation [de] which according to her, would continue what was important to her late husband.
