Eresia clio, the common crescent or Clio crescent, is a butterfly of the family Nymphalidae.

It is found from southern Mexico to Peru, Bolivia, the Guyanas and Brazil (from Amazonas to Mato Grosso).

The habitat consists of forest edges with low vegetation.
