Eric Nussbaumer (born 11 September 1960[1]) is a politician of the Social Democratic Party of Switzerland (SP) and member of the National Council, the lower chamber of the Swiss Parliament.
[2] He studied electrical engineering at the University of Applied Sciences of Zurich (ZHAW)[3] following which he worked for two energy companies for some years.
[3] He is the President of the Board of Convivere, a real estate firm that bases its investments on christian values.
[18] He opposes the development of higher sums for transfers of football players, which apparently reminds him of a slave market.
[3] He was born in Mulhouse, France, has his place of origin in Lüterkofen,[1] grew up in Zürich, and since 1988 Nussbaumer resides in Liestal, Baselland.
