Marcel Dobler

Marcel René Dobler[1] (/dɒblɛr/, DOUHBLER; born 29 August 1980) is a Swiss businessman and politician.

[2] Dobler is primarily known for founding Digitec Galaxus, Switzerland's largest online retailer.

Between 2001 and 2003 he studied Information technology at the University of Applied Sciences Rapperswil, leaving without degree.

[7] In 2001, Dobler co-founded Digitec Galaxus,[8][9] and led the company which had an annual turnover of 500 million Swiss Francs (2013) and 450 employees (sales 2014).

Since 2017, he is the president of ICTswitzerland,[10] between 2017 and 2018 a board member of SwissSign[11] and since 2018 controlling shareholder and chairman of Franz Carl Weber.
