Sir Ernest Musgrave Harvey, 1st Baronet, KBE, (1867–1955)[1] was the Chief Cashier of the Bank of England from 1918 to 1925.
Harvey was replaced as Chief Cashier by Cyril Patrick Mahon.
Charles Harvey and his wife Frances Harriet Brewster, born in Hampstead.
He was educated at Marlborough College, and began work in 1885 as a clerk at the Bank of England.
[6] On 19 January 1933 he was created a Baronet of Threadneedle Street in the City of London.
