Ernest William Farebrother

Ernest William Farebrother (died 1891) was an architect who worked in Louth and Grimsby, Lincolnshire.

He proceeded to FRIBA in Jan 1885, again proposed by Fowler and also by William Watkins of Lincoln.

He set up an independent practice in Louth in 1876 and moved to Grimsby in 1879.

[3] His daughter Violet Farebrother was a noted actress who starred in three Hitchcock films.

Farebrother was the architect for several notable buildings in Grimsby and North Lincolnshire.
