Erwin Waldner

Erwin Waldner (24 January 1933 – 18 April 2015) was a German footballer.

[1][2] He was one of not that many West German players in the early 1960s who played his club football abroad.

After spells at FC Zürich in Switzerland and Real SPAL in Italy he returned to his former club VfB Stuttgart in 1963 with the introduction of the Bundesliga.

Waldner won 13 caps between December 1954 and December 1958 for the West Germany national team.
