Ethel Bruneau

Ethel Bruneau (born Mae Waterman, January 1, 1936 – July 24, 2023) was an American-Canadian dancer, singer, and dance instructor in Montreal.

[3][4] She performed on television programs hosted by Ed Sullivan, Milton Berle, and Sid Caesar.

[1][5] At the height of her career, she was said to perform 365 days a year in the cabarets and restaurants of Montreal, such as Rockhead’s Paradise, the Rialto, and the Mocambo.

[5] The following decade, she pursued studies in early childhood education at McGill University, specializing in developmental disabilities such as autism, Down syndrome, and deafness.
