Demographics of Azerbaijan

As of 2022, the economic regions of Mountainous Shirvan and Mil-Mughan have the highest birth rate in Azerbaijan.

On the other hand, the Absheron-Khizi economic region and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic have the lowest birth rate in the country.

The highest death rate is in the Gazakh-Tovuz economic region, while the lowest is in Absheron-Khizi.

note: religious affiliation for the majority of Azerbaijanis is largely nominal, percentages for actual practicing adherents are probably much lower.
