Euchaetes elegans, the elegant pygarctia, is a moth of the family Erebidae.

It is found in the US states of California, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada and Texas,[1] and in Mexico, Guatemala, Panama and Colombia.

The larvae feed on Asclepias species.
