On 7 September 2023, FIBA announced that the Czechia (Brno), Germany (Hamburg), Greece (Piraeus) and Italy (unknown city) will host the tournament.
Each country will host a group and the final round is scheduled to take place in Athens, Greece.
[9] Bologna was selected as the host city for Italy on 11 December 2023, while on the same day, the final round was relocated from Athens to Piraeus.
[10][11] 32 teams took part in qualification, while the four co-hosts played in a separate group for preparation reasons.
Latvia, plus 2023 co-host Israel, also failed to advance after taking part in the 2023 competition.
Montenegro, Slovenia and Türkiye all continue their perfect record of qualifying for every tournament since their debut.
