Farlowella latisoma A. de Miranda Ribeiro, 1939[1] Farlowella schreitmuelleri is a species of armored catfish endemic to Brazil where it is found in the lower Amazon basin.

This species grows to a length of 18.1 centimetres (7.1 in) SL.
