Fayette, Alabama

In 1928, Victor and Lucy Patterson began manufacturing Golden Eagle Syrup in Fayette.

The syrup is still produced locally in a manufacturing facility in downtown Fayette.

The local radio stations are WLDX Big Cat and WTXT.

The climate in this area is characterized by hot, humid summers and generally mild to cool winters.
